Join us for the perfect introduction to Austria’s fascinating capital city, on this fun and informative walk through Old Vienna. There are so many unique attractions, world-famous museums and historic monuments to see in Vienna—get started with us!

Your expert guide will tell you lots of interesting facts and anecdotes about the food, people, culture and architecture along the way. Besides the many places you’ll discover, your guide will give great advice on places to visit afterward, including the locations of bars, restaurants, and some of the city’s legendary cafés.

During your tour, you’ll get a true feel for the glory and sheer size of Imperial Vienna—once the centre of the powerful Habsburg Empire.  You’ll see St. Rupert’s, the oldest church in Vienna … stroll through the narrow lanes of the old Jewish quarter…discover Hofburg Imperial Palace, the impressive center of power of the Habsburg family… and Heroes’ Square where Hitler made his infamous "Anschluss" speech to the Austrians in 1938. You’ll visit the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the unchallenged gothic masterpiece in the very heart of the city.

" Walking Tour 3 May 2019 "

My party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this walking experience of the city. Our guide Horst was knowledgable very friendly which enhanced our experience of Vienna. A morning well spent!
" Tour didn't run "
1 out of 5 stars
I booked a tour and received a confirmation email detailing the date, time and "status:confirmed". When I arrived at the meeting location I was told the tour didn't run on Wednesdays. If I'd been informed when I'd made the booking I would have had time to arrange an alternative. Eventually received a refund but because of changing exchange rates it was less than I'd paid.

" Something to consider.... "
3 out of 5 stars
It was OK.... There were a lot of points of interest we visited but the tour guide was actually quite fast-walking while there were people with young children who sometimes were running behind.... I have a problem with the leg, so about 40-45 minutes before the end, write after taking photos close to St.Peter's Cathedral, I realized I had lost my group.... :( First, I tried to find them and I wasn't able to.... So I continued on my own....
" Nice walk to start the day "

It was a nice walk covering main parts of the city. The guide was friendly and willing to answer the questions. Although, the tour from the native person with historical background and knowledge of the hidden gems and facts of history would be really good and that what we were hoping to get. As the guide was American, sometimes there was a feeling, that he was telling us more about USA than about Austria :)
" Great introduction to Vienna "

An enthusiastic guide took us for a two and a half hour walk througt the inner city. There were only ten to twelve people in the group. No problem hearing what the guide said, and no problem asking questions. Very nice experience.
" Our brilliant guide Horst "
5 out of 5 stars
Horst was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. His tour gave us confidence to explore Vienna on our own afterwards. Horst gave us lots of tips and suggestions about where to visit and to eat. He also gave us some interesting facts and historical details that you wouldn't find in a guide book! An excellent tour, thank you Horst.
" Very good guide "

Excellent to have an Austrian guide instead of an American immigrant. She was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and answered lots of questions.

" Super pomysl na poczatek zwiedzania Wiednia "

Spacer z przewodnikiem był naszym pierwszym punktem w programie i dał możliwość rozeznania się co gdzie i gdzie jeszcze warto pójść. Pani przewodniczka miła, mówiła ciekawie (czasami może nazbyt entuzjastycznie jak dla mnie), chętnie odpowiadała na dodatkowe pytania.
" Excellent guide "

Excellent guide with very good sense of humor but the pace was much, much too fast. Cut the distance by a third and slow down the pace

" lovely intro for a wonderful city "
5 out of 5 stars
One of the best city walking tours, and I've done some. Andrea showed us Vienna in an unique way, with tips along the way where to dine or take a coffee, with lots of informations not only about the city itself, but honest and realist interpretation of history during and after WW2 and AustroHungarian Empire.
